Kira Kira Kira you know you shouldn't tell lies

I know that anybody who's anybody has read the Sept. issue of Teen Vogue with Baby V(said that in one of her older songs) on the cover. I thought that her article was great and when she said that she doesn't talk about her relationship and that's why it works was really nice. Because just like have the people in the world I always think why don't they just tell us they are dating(like Chris Brown and Rihanna and Vanessa and Zac), but then I thought that if these people are happy keeping their relationship to themselves then the rest of the world shouldn't care. But on to a different note:FASHION. So just like all the other naive teen vogue readers i had read the article on Kira Plastinina and thought "Wow, that's amazing. 15 with a clothing line. That's my dream". But this time when I red about her I thought "16 with over 40 stores. That's just preposterous", so I looked her up and she isn't some girl that made her self into something. Her father already was a billionaire. I don't know about anyone else but I just feel that Teen Vogue really could have focused an article of that sort a real person that really had a dream and followed it , not another girl like Paris Hilton who doesn't have to work if she doesn't want to.

Wood and Nails

Found these great earrings by PLT NYC on gargyle.com. These could totally add a touch of craziness to a normal outfit. And by the way I'm not even going to bother watching the last America's Best Dance Crew since they voted FP off and they were my favorite

Project Runway, Books and other things

Other great thing meaning other shows that i am obsessed with. One being the secret life of an American teenager. This is an absolutely great show that everyone should watch. Just in case you haven't seen it I'll give you the best recap that I can: Girl gets pregnant at band camp buy the drummer Ricky but doesn't tell anyone except for close friends that end up spilling the secret that she is no longer a virgin. New guy steps and falls in love with pregnant girl and goes to crazy measures saying that he loves her and is going to marry her so that people will think that they are some happy high school family with a baby on the way. There are a lot of other important characters but that would be just to much to write so this topic is closed.

Other show that I'm in love with: Queen Bees. I just love seeing catty girls argue.

If this were any other season of project runway I would have a ton to say but I am very disappointed. None of the people are very interesting or crazy and I just can't stand the women that loves leather. I feel like she is a waste of space. Like there had to be someone better out there that should be on the show instead of her. And on top of that the people that I think have the best outfits and should win never do except for when Suede won( why didn't I think of calling myself something cool like Suede).

On to books. Haven't read any really new books lately. I get most of my books from the library so the last one I bought was called either M or F or F or M and that was back in April or May. There is this new book out that i want to read that is written by a real model and is about her story and how she got started in the fashion industry. Speaking of fashion, does anybody else feel them selves almost attracted to those semi-lame books about summer internships at fashion magazine. Like I read them because I like reading about internships at fashion mags because I love fashion and want to intern at Teen Vogue but what I don't like is all the drama over boys or competing for stupid things. I feel like if you are going to write a book about fashion keep it strictly about fashion.

Randomism-ism-ism

OMG I'm sitting here looking at all these people's great blogs and the awesome clothes that they are wearing and it just reminds me how much more i need a job. My money is like running on E meaning I only have like $40. That money can barely buy me 2 items of clothing at Marshall's and like nothing at plain old Macy's. Seeing people's great clothes also reminds me just how much I love fashion. I am literally dieing while waiting for a whole year to be up so I can go to fashion school. I mean like sometime people say crazy thing like "I'm to young to be going off to a college that is out of state" or just say things about my ideas that make me want to say "shut up". But I don't because I know that I am a great fashion designer. Oh My God. It feels so good getting all those random thoughts out.

Too Lazy

List of the amazing things I did today:
1sat around watching t.v.
2 searched the Internet for fun things
3napped because there was nothing else
4 found these great things to tell you about.

Okay, I was on TeenVogue and I say this great article and since I'm to lazy to revamp the article and tell you about I'm just going to give you the link Cool thing on TeenVogue. I also found this great fun and colorful blog that I thought everyone should know about: Urban Audrey

But I did go to Six Flags and see a performance by Danity Kane AND Prima J, both of which I love. I just felt like the world needed to know how much fun I had yesterday. So thanx for readin' and for all those people that don't know who Prima J is what the heck is your problem.

Sorry

Sorry people I just realized that I haven't posted a blog sine the 18 of last month(gasp). But have no fear within that time I have come up with plenty of things to blog about. Topic of the day: who is your favorite model? Now, some of you may think thing like Heidi or Iman but I want you to think bigger than that. Think of those young fresh faces you see going down the runway. Now I personally love Tanya D. and Chanel Iman. They look like the start of a great generation of models.

Flarestick

So there is this site that the rest of the world already knows about called FredFlare that i just found. It has the cutest and coolest thing on it. Like this watch that looks like a bow and this sailor dress. Then I saw the pink kanye west shades. And I would appreciate it if no one tries to throw this out fit together because they think they match.

The 509pg Book

Today I got the information I sent for from AAU. they only sent the course book which tells about all the courses for every subject, tuition cost, admissions and it even has a little map in the back the shows all of the campus buildings and dorms. They also sent a DVD that had the AAU spring/summer 08 fashion show which had a lot of great looks.

Post more later.

So months back when I looked in the TeenVogue mag and saw that someone was making clothes for dolls I thought that the idea was kind of silly. But being an up-and-coming fashion designer i have never made one of my own designs because 1) I've found that it can be hard to make clothes that fit ones body. Like I made a really nice vest once before but when I tried to make some jeans they where like 2 sizes to small. And 2) because I just haven't. So I was like "what the heck" go ahead and make some Barbie doll clothes, because if it fits one Barbie it is going to fit all of the Barbies. But so far I've only made the one pair of jeans but I am so proud of them because they look so itty bitty tiny cute. I made the jeans out of dark was denim that i was using to make my own pair and I fasten the jeans with the Velcro piece that comes on all Barbie clothes. I think that I will eventually get around to making some of my own designs for Barbie dolls.

The Look:semi 80s

I feel like the belt and the shirt are so 80s. can't you just image boys in really short shorts and kids riding bikes. If only I'd had some red penny loafers.

On another note I went to the bookstore and even though i don't like going(I don't know why) I picked up travel guides for new york city and San Francisco. I know lame but if I can't like be there right now I at least want to look at some pictures.

The First Step

In the fall of 09 I,DeNae Moore, will be going to either FIT or AAU. So, you may be wondering "what is the first step to getting into your dream fashion college?". No. 1 request information from you college and then accidentally get a phone call. Like I had just put my phone number in the computer and then ten seconds later the guy from AAU called. I was to scared to answer the phone so my mom did(i know am suck a punk).

So this is day number one on the countdown to college and you best believe I'll keep counting until the fall of 09.
